My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into the many challenges one may encounter. This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding to the coaching table.
I take a holistic approach to wellness looking at food, relationships, self care, movement and spirituality, to help my clients find whole body wellness.
I believe in bio-individuality, meaning we each have different food and lifestyle needs.
My wellness experience comes from my own lifetime struggles with health and wellness. I am still on my journey.
I studied Holistic Health Coaching and Nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition © in 2011 and Holistic Health Coaching at the Health Coach Institute in 2016 - 2017.
I studied Emotional Detox Coaching at the BodyMind Institute in 2017.
I studied at ISSA (2023 - 2024) and have the following Certifications: Personal Trainer; Specialist in Senior Fitness; Group Exercise Instructor; Nutritionist.
I am continuing my education in order to better serve my clients.
I am currently studying at Precision Nutrition. I am studying Level 1 Nutrition; Level 1 Sleep, Stress Management and Recovery Coaching; Metabolism; How to Promote Healthy Digestion; What is Hunger and how we can Control it.
When you work with me, we will work together, to help you find and maintain your path to wellness.
We will look at what has worked and not worked in the past. We will dive deep into what you truly want and why. Together we will develop a flexible, fluid 'blueprint' to help you reach your goals.
We will be a team, working together, every step of the way. There will be learning, support, action steps, check-ins, feedback and accountability along the way.
I will encourage you to think outside the box, to try new things and to trust in the process. It won't be easy, it will be hard work, but trust me when I say "it will be worth it".
When you work with me, you will learn how to listen to your body, you will become intune with what your body needs and loves, and you may choose to change your eating habits to what your body truly needs, loves and craves.
We are individuals, our bodies are all different and our dietary needs are not identical.
When you work with me, you will learn about the benefits of hydration and movement. You will learn about the effects of chronic stress on your body and different ways that you can de-stress in order to improve your health.
We will look at more than just food, we will look at relationships, spirituality, work & home life and so much more.
As your Health Coach, I will not tell you what you should or should not eat. I may offer you suggestions or recommendations based on your needs and wants.

Every session will be fluid. We will start with a plan, however directions can change as we move through each session, based on your needs.
Initial intake session is complimentary, we will go over your wants, needs and expectations.
With this platform, there are no contracts and no refunds.
Payment needs to be made 24 hours before each session.
I have gone back & forth alot on my pricing. And it comes down to this, I want to help people to the best of my ability. I am not doing this to get rich. I am doing this because I care.
I have decided to charge an hourly rate for my services. Sessions are 1 hr.

I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. As a child I was active and fit, I would set a fitness goal and attain it (whether crossing the monkey bars without falling, jumping my bike the highest or climbing to the highest part of the tree). As an adult, after having children, my weight became an issue and my life became devoted to caring for my family.
In 2004 I had a complete hysterectomy and afterwards came to realize that I did not want to take a pill made of pregnant mare urine for the rest of my life. Thus began my journey into alternative & holistic health.
I found a local herbalist & started taking a tincture to replace the Premarin. Then I discovered different ways of eating, such as vegan & raw vegan. I gradually transitioned my eating habits to raw vegan and never felt better!! I had lots of energy, slept great, my mood stabilized & my mind became sharper.
Alas, stress & emotions prevented this from being a permanent change. In 2011 I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition © to learn more about nutrition & became a Holistic Health Coach upon graduating 12 months later.

In 2016 I enrolled into the Health Coach Institute to upgrade my coaching skills & to learn more about running my own business. I graduated 12 months later & became a Certified Health Coach.
Over the years I have learned to listen to my body, to pay attention to how I feel after eating & drinking. I’ve learned that I am an emotional & stress eater. I now have coping skills & have the ability to decide if I am going to eat for emotional or stressful reasons. I have also learned that what works for me, may not work for others (I call that bio-individuality).
In April 2018 I began to “walk my talk” & my journey to better health finally began. I rarely eat processed foods, added sugar & dairy products. I sometimes eat meats, grains and eggs. Mostly my diet consists of vegetables & fruits, raw nuts & seeds and lots of water & herbal teas. I love making smoothies & my own juice.
I am still on my journey to better health and am thrilled to be your guide as you begin or continue your journey to better health. My passion is to help others regain their health and the fact that I am able to assist each & every one of you on your journey is an honor & a privilege that I do not take lightly.
I am committed to being here for each & every one of you. I promise to use my knowledge from my Health Coach training in our coaching sessions. I promise to continue my learning and to use what I learn to better serve each & every one of you.

In October 2018 I suffered a Meniscus tear in my right knee. Due to that injury, I was off work for several months. In February 2019, when I finally healed up enough to resume coaching at Curves, my dad passed away. These 2 events catapulted me away from my healthy ways. I allowed stress and sadness to take over and gradually reverted back to my old, unhealthy habits.
My mom and my step-dad started to need more help and as a result, my coaching and journey back to better health was put on the back burner.
